12-Session Life Coaching Programme

Your Next Chapter Starts Here

12-Session Life Coaching Programme

Gain clarity. Choose your direction. Turn what matters to you into meaningful action.

There comes a point when the question is no longer only: “How do I get through this?”

It becomes: “What do I want to build from here?”

Perhaps you are standing at the beginning of a new chapter. Maybe you have a goal you cannot seem to get moving on. Maybe life looks perfectly fine from the outside, but something inside you knows that you want more intention, direction, meaning or change.

The Blooming Practice Life Coaching Programme is a structured 12-session coaching journey designed to help you understand where you are, decide where you want to go, and create a realistic path towards getting there.

You do not need to have your whole future figured out.

You simply need to be ready to explore what comes next.

Testimonial

I can’t recommend a coaching session with Marelize enough. I went into the session expecting help with setting goals, but came away with something much bigger. She helped me realise that I’m actually very good at setting goals, but what I’m terrible at is setting boundaries. As a recovering people pleaser, I give away time that should be going into my own projects, and I’d never seen that pattern so clearly before.

Throughout the session, Marelize offered so many ways of looking at things differently, and honestly, several of them felt like complete game changers. They weren’t just nice ideas, they genuinely shifted how I think about protecting my time and prioritising myself.

What makes her coaching so special is how warm and kind she is. Being with her feels like chatting to your best friend: someone who listens without judgement, gently challenges your thinking, but won’t let you off the hook in the best possible way!

The perfect balance of compassion, insight, and accountability. I’m so glad I booked the session. Thank you Marelize so much!

Rachel L.

Perhaps You Are Asking, “What Now?”

You may have:

  • finished your studies and begun wondering what comes next
  • reached a career crossroads
  • come through a difficult period and feel ready to think about the future again
  • been considering starting a business, qualification, project or new venture
  • struggled to turn good intentions into consistent action
  • spent years caring for other people and begun asking what you want
  • achieved the goal you spent years chasing and unexpectedly found yourself without a clear next destination
  • realised that the life you have built no longer feels quite like the life you want
  • simply reached a point where you know something needs to change

You might already know exactly what you want to work towards.

Or you might only know: “I don’t want to stay where I am.”

Both are valid places to begin.

What Could You Work On?

Your coaching goal can be personal, professional, practical or developmental.

You might want to:

  • change careers
  • start a business
  • complete a qualification
  • begin a creative or personal project
  • create healthier routines
  • become more organised and consistent
  • improve your work-life boundaries
  • build confidence
  • navigate an important life transition
  • make a decision you have been avoiding
  • reconnect with hobbies, relationships or parts of yourself that have been neglected
  • create a more balanced and intentional life
  • rediscover direction after a difficult chapter

Your goal does not need to impress anyone else.

It simply needs to matter to you.

Coaching Is Not About Becoming Someone Else

This programme is not about turning you into a permanently productive, fearless, disciplined or “successful” version of yourself.

It is about helping you become more intentional about the life you are already living.

Together, we explore questions such as:

  • What matters to me now?
  • What do I actually want?
  • What has been keeping me stuck?
  • What is within my control?
  • What would meaningful progress look like for me?
  • What is the next realistic step?

You remain the expert on your own life.

My role is not to tell you what your life should look like. It is to help you think more clearly, recognise possibilities and patterns, create practical next steps, and remain accountable to the direction you choose.

Your programme includes:

12 × 50-minute individual coaching sessions

Held via Google Meet.

This is what truly makes this programme different!

BONUS: Your Personal Growth & Goal Roadmap

Throughout the programme, you will create your own Personal Growth & Goal Roadmap.

By the end of your coaching journey, it will bring together your:

  • goal and preferred future
  • values and priorities
  • strengths and resources
  • action steps
  • milestones
  • potential obstacles
  • beliefs and patterns
  • personal definition of success
  • plan for continuing your progress

So, you leave Session 12 with more than memories of twelve conversations.

You leave with a practical framework you can continue using when pursuing future goals, navigating transitions, and deciding what you want to grow next.

Your 12-Session Journey…

Session 1 — Where Am I Now?

Wheel of Life & Brainstorming Your Goal

We begin by looking at your life as a whole.

Using the Wheel of Life, you will explore different areas of your life, recognise what is working well, identify areas you would like to strengthen, and begin brainstorming the goal you would most like to work towards.

The purpose is not to judge your life.

It is to understand where you are starting from.

Session 2 — What Am I Working Towards?

Your SMARTEST Goal

We transform your initial idea into a clear, meaningful, and achievable goal.

You will explore exactly what you want, why it matters, what success would look like, and whether the goal is realistic within your current circumstances.

By the end of the session, you will have a destination.

Session 3 — How Will I Get There?

Action Steps, Milestones & Resources

Large goals become much less overwhelming when they are broken into smaller pieces.

We create your practical roadmap by identifying milestones, manageable next steps, resources, skills, support, and opportunities that could help you move forward.

Session 4 — What If It Doesn’t Go According to Plan?

Reframing Failure & SWOT Analysis

Progress is rarely perfectly linear.

We explore your relationship with mistakes, setbacks, and failure while identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that may influence your goal.

Instead of trying to create a perfect plan, you begin creating a resilient one.

Session 5 — Why Do I Keep Getting Stuck?

Resistance & Growth Mindset

Knowing what to do does not always mean doing it.

We explore procrastination, avoidance, fear of failure, fear of success, perfectionism, and other forms of resistance that can appear when you begin moving outside your comfort zone.

You will also explore how a growth mindset can change the way you approach challenges and learning.

Session 6 — What Is Mine to Change?

Responsibility & Your Circle of Control

There are things you can control.

There are things you can influence.

And there are things you cannot change, no matter how much energy you spend worrying about them.

This session helps you distinguish between them.

The goal is personal responsibility without self-blame.

You cannot control everything that happens.

You can decide what you do with what is within your influence.

Session 7 — Who Am I Becoming?

My Favourite Self & My Dream Life

We widen the lens beyond your immediate goal.

Who would you like to become?

How would you like your ordinary days to feel?

What relationships, routines, experiences and qualities would you like your future life to contain?

Rather than creating an impossible “perfect self”, you begin developing a realistic picture of the person and life you would like to grow towards.

Session 8 — What Stories Am I Carrying?

Beliefs & Patterns

The way we think about ourselves can quietly influence what we believe is possible.

In this session, we explore beliefs, assumptions, and recurring patterns that may support or interfere with your progress.

The aim is not to force positive thinking.

It is to become more aware of the stories guiding your choices and decide whether they still deserve that authority.

Session 9 — What Really Matters to Me?

Values & Being Versus Doing

Goals tell us what we want to accomplish.

Values help us understand how we want to live.

You will explore the principles and qualities that matter to you and examine whether the way you are pursuing success reflects the kind of person you want to be.

We also explore the difference between what you achieve and who you are.

Session 10 — What Rules Am I Living By?

Rules & Outcomes

Many of us carry invisible rules about what we should do, where we should be by a certain age, what success should look like, or what must happen before we are allowed to feel satisfied.

We identify some of these rules and examine the outcomes they create.

You can then decide which rules still serve you — and which ones you may be ready to rewrite.

Session 11 — What Do I Want My Life to Stand For?

Life Purpose

Purpose does not need to be one enormous calling you discover once and never question again.

For many people, purpose is something that develops through values, relationships, contribution, curiosity, meaningful work, growth, and the way they choose to engage with life.

This session helps you explore what gives your life meaning and how your current goals may fit into the bigger picture.

Session 12 — How Far Have I Come, and What Happens Next?

Wheel of Life, Coaching Review & Reflection

We return to the Wheel of Life from Session 1 and look at what has changed.

You will review your progress, insights, challenges, achievements and lessons from the programme.

Most importantly, we create a plan for continuing beyond coaching.

Because the goal is not for you to need someone beside you every time you make an important change.

The goal is for you to increasingly know how to guide yourself.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Moving Forward

The Blooming Practice takes a trauma-informed approach to coaching without turning coaching into trauma therapy.

We recognise that people do not arrive at change as blank slates.

Your experiences may have influenced your confidence, habits, beliefs, relationships, decision-making, and responses to uncertainty.

Those experiences are treated with sensitivity and respect.

But you will never be required to disclose or process trauma in order to participate.

Life coaching remains focused primarily on:

  • Where are you now?
  • Where would you like to go?
  • What can you do next?

Your past may help explain certain patterns.

Coaching focuses on what you want to build from here.

Your First Session Is Completely FREE!

Making a meaningful commitment to coaching is a personal decision.

That is why your first 50-minute coaching session is completely free, with no obligation to continue.

During this session, we can begin exploring where you are, what you would like to work towards, and whether coaching appears to be the right kind of support for you.

After your first session, you have 30 days to decide whether you would like to enrol in the complete programme.

No pressure.

Experience the process first.

Then decide whether you want to continue.

Your Investment

R8 000 for the complete 12-session programme.

That’s approximately €420 / £360 / US$495.

If you decide to continue after your complimentary first session:

  • the full R8 000 programme fee is payable upfront
  • payment is required before Session 2
  • payment is made via EFT
  • proof of payment is emailed to thebloomingpractice@gmail.com
  • instalment and pay-per-session options are not offered

The programme is intentionally offered as a complete coaching journey rather than a collection of individual sessions.

Choosing to enrol is a commitment not only of money, but of your time, attention, energy and action towards the change you want to create.

Once Session 2 begins, your remaining 11 sessions must be completed within 28 weeks, allowing enough flexibility for real life while maintaining the consistency and momentum that coaching requires.

I will not hand you a ready-made version of success.

Together, we work on discovering what success means for you.

Is Coaching Right for You?

Life coaching may be a good fit when you are functioning reasonably well in everyday life and want structured support with: growth, goals, change, decision-making, action and future direction.

Life coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, diagnosis or crisis support.

If your primary need is currently trauma processing, crisis support, severe emotional distress or treatment for mental health symptoms, counselling or another appropriate healthcare service may be a better starting point.

You do not need to be perfectly healed before you begin coaching.

You simply need enough stability for the main focus of our work to remain on what you want to grow towards next.

For detailed information about programme suitability, coaching versus counselling, confidentiality, cancellations, missed sessions and professional boundaries, please read the full Information Packet before enrolling.

You Don’t Need to Know Exactly Where the Next Chapter Leads

You only need somewhere to begin.

Maybe you already know the goal.

Maybe you have been carrying an idea quietly for years.

Maybe you have reached the other side of something difficult and are beginning to wonder who you would like to become when survival is no longer the only priority.

Or perhaps you simply know that your life could feel more intentional than it does today.

You do not need a perfectly mapped-out future.

We can begin with the question: What do you want to grow next?

Your first coaching session is completely free.
